BNI-Drake

Featured Speaker – 29/10/2009

Each week a different member of BNI Drake has the chance to present their business to the group in the form of a 10 minute talk. This week is the turn of Richard Silk of Independent Utilities, representing one of the South West’s leading energy and utility brokers.

Independent Utilities have been established since 2002. They specialise in helping businesses save time, energy and money by searching the marketplace using major energy suppliers to secure lower energy rates, enabling them to reduce their energy costs. Richard has recently joined their ever expanding team to develop their carbon reduction services in preparation for the Carbon Tax, which will be introduced in 2012.

Although IU have been members of BNI for over 6 months now, Richard has only this week taken over at BNI from his colleague Chaz Lawrence. The members of BNI Drake look forward to getting to know him better, and learning more about this new area of the energy market.
