Update from Drake Chapter
Although all has been quiet on the website front for a couple of months, BNI Drake Chapter has started 2010 with a host of positive initiatives.
From Thursday 11th February our weekly meetings will be held at the Jury’s Inn on Exeter Street in central Plymouth. The move is a pre-emptive step to prepare for an expected rise in membership in the coming months, and we look forward to enjoying the corporate hospitality offered by the hotel. The chapter would also like to extend its thanks to the staff at Bar HaHa who have looked after us very well for the past 9 months.
This Thursday the members of Drake Chapter look forward to a presentation by Frank Lyons of Humane Architecture. Frank has done a fine job of leading the chapter through his second six-month stint as Chapter Director, and this week he gets the chance to talk a little more about his company and current projects. Since the launch of his new website, Frank has been authoring an interesting and thoughtful blog which is well worth a read. You can also follow him on Twitter (@HumaneArchitect) to get the latest updates about an original and fascinating take on modern architecture.
